July News 2025

Mike, Candace and Cooper!

Having some 4th of July fun – and memories for the future.

First baby milestones are filled with JOY!

A mesage from a grateful family:

“We are so thankful for the opportunity you have provided us to be parents and we are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Cooper is an absolute blessing to us and we could not be more excited to be his parents. Our journey to becoming parents was not without its challenges and we look at this little boy here today and think he’s nothing short of miraculous.

We look forward to providing you all the wonderful updates as Cooper grows and we sincerely wish you all the best!”

Family update from Laura and Shawn

Embryo Adoption Services of Cedar Park

“Abram is 3 years old now! He loves all things sports. He especially loves baseball. Abram will be playing soccer and t-ball next season, in the fall. He has developed a great sense of humor and keeps us laughing all the time. He’s still very smart and he is THE sweetest little boy! We recently moved to a house with a pool and he also is enjoying swimming and playing in the pool often. We hope you’re doing well, as always!”

Sincerely,

Laura and Shawn

Family updates are part of what we call the Bridge Project in actions! We provide communication and connections for both adopting and donor couples so they will be able to share milestones and photos over the course of time.

We want to enable couples the opportunity over time to get to know each other. Some couples grow into Open relationships over time after getting to know each other.

We have a new intern starting this week that will be our new Bridge Project Coordinator. We will introduce here very soon!

Jaclyn Davis

Jaclyn Davis, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Austin, Texas, where she works with individuals and couples. She also provides telehealth therapy in over 40 states through PSYPACT, an interstate compact. Dr. Davis has a deep

understanding of the emotional complexities of embryo donation. She completed her doctoral dissertation on the experiences of embryo adoption recipients, has published her research in a peer-reviewed journal, and has shared her work at national professional conferences.

If you are navigating the journey of embryo donation—whether you are a potential donor, recipient, or simply exploring your options—you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy can offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore the mix of emotions that often come with this path: grief, hope, uncertainty, gratitude, and more.

Dr. Davis helps clients work through questions around family building, relational dynamics, and how to talk with loved ones, children, or donor/recipient families.

If your faith is an important part of your life, Dr. Davis is also open to exploring how your spiritual beliefs shape your decisions and give meaning to your experience. Her work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique path. Whether you are re at the beginning of this process or somewhere in the middle, Dr. Davis welcomes the opportunity to walk alongside you with care and insight.
