Look what the Lord has done this time!

Deuteronomy 12:10

10 But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety.

What a wonderful name, Jordan, and a wonderful  promise from God too!

Jordan as an Embryo

Jordan, as an embryo! This is just before being transferred to Linda’s womb.

Jordan born in Seattle

Jordan was born in Seattle, and we were able to go to the hospital and see the new family on Jordan’s “real-first” birthday”!

Other Birthday News…. Elisha Lancaster is 8!

Elisha is 8

Elisha

Many of you already know that Elisha, our daughter was adopted as a frozen embryo, after having spent four years in the freezer. Elisha is precious to us in so many ways, but one of the things we realize is that without her, there would have been no Embryo Adoption Services of Cedar Park. In many ways her life opened the doors for so many others. It reminds of the verse in Isaiah 11:6, “And a little child shall lead them”.

My husband Jeff and I are grateful beyond words for how God rescued us from the pit of despair and grief, through the great gift of her birth. We have Dr. James Dobson to thank for finding out about this way of adopting. We are grateful to Dr. Kevin Johnson of Overlake Reproductive Health in Bellevue, WA for being willing to do the first “embryo adoption” in Washington State.

Last but not least, we are thankful for Pastor Joe Fuiten for being willing to help us pioneer the first ever church ministry based embryo adoption agency “on the planet”… as someone described it once. “Firsts” are important, because there is the unique opportunity to “be a cornerstone” and to set an example of excellence, and integrity. It is also our sincere desire to see others experience the joy we have through the birth and life of our daughter Elisha!
