Update on Emmett – He’s a HAPPY Camper!
Emmett is now 10 months old, and he is growing and changing so fast!
He is such a happy and curious baby, and he loves to explore the world around him. In the past 3 months, Emmett has learned to crawl, and he is now cruising around furniture and trying to stand up on his own. He is also starting to babble more, and he loves to say “mama” and “dada.” Emmett is a big eater, and he loves trying new foods. He especially enjoys fruits, vegetables, and yogurt. He is also starting to drink from a sippy cup.
Emmett is a very social baby, and he loves spending time with his family and friends. He is especially fond of his older cousins, who love to play with him. We are so grateful for Emmett’s joy and laughter. He has brought so much happiness into our lives. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings! We are so excited to watch Emmett continue to grow and learn. He is such a special little boy, and we love him very much.
Ryan, Heather, and Emmett
Having some tent time with Daddy before bedtime. Cherished memories for these first time parents that are now loving their new son in their lives forever. What a special Thanksgiving today is for them.
Emmett blissfully enjoying being packed around my his mom, Heather. So much fun for both!
Emmett will like getting his picture taken eventually, hang in there!

Carrie Abbott Moment!
This was 3 years ago at a fantastic event
Carrie Abbott and The Legacy Institute hosted honoring the life of Dr. James Dobson. We actually found out about embryo adoption listening to one of his radio interviews over 20 years ago. As the result of that interview with Dr. Dobson, we adopted embryos too. Elisha was the first baby in the state of Washington adopted as an embryo. Pictured here is my daughter Elisha, myself and Carrie Abbott celebrating together the life work of Dr. Dobson with a presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award for him. Thank you, Dr. Dobson and Carrie Abbott!
November is National Adoption Month!
“National Adoption Month is an initiative of the Children’s Bureau that seeks to increase national awareness of adoption issues, bring attention to the need for adoptive families for teens in the U.S. foster care system, and emphasize the value of youth engagement.”
Here is a fantastic resource from the ADF about how you and or your church can impact a child or children in the Foster Care system:

We are helping families to connect with each other through this project. Both adopting and donating families have been set up with personal Sharefile folders so all updates can be shared and saved.
Here is how you can help!
If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation to support The Bridge Project, you may donate to our foundation, The Miracle Embryo Foundation that directly supports this heart touching and relationship building work.
